Our on-line permitting and document management modules in conjunction with our inspection module are used by the City of Omaha for their
Post Construction, Grading Permit, Public Improvement, and Linear Underground document management and on-line permitting processes. The business rules of the system are
modeled after their legacy "paper" processes that made the transistion to "on-line" go smoothly. This product has reduced the time to receive an approved permit and
increased the overall efficiency of the involved departments.
One key component of the system is document markup. This function allows the office reviewer to "drop" comments on an uploaded PDF document and
return these to the applicant for review, comment, and document re-upload. This allows the applicant to see the comments in context. All comments must be addressed before re-submission.
All comments and responses are retained as part of the document record.
All document revisions are maintained.
Permit application forms can only be submitted when they are completed correctly and all required documentation has been uploaded. The time spent reviewing incomplete application packages is eliminated.
